Lucia's Garden

Lucia’s Garden was founded by Lucia Bettler in 1984.  Once a one-room operation, Lucia and her husband, Michael, started the business to share with Houston their expertise in gardening, herb crafting, and cooking.  The shop still hosts these original offerings, and has added much more.

We have expanded into a substantial bookstore with music, incense, herbs, crystals, statuary and other exciting offerings.  We also have a wonderful assortment of classes happening throughout the year--everything from fabulous cooking with Lucia, to meditation and aromatherapy. 

While the shop has grown throughout the years, it remains a small, cottage-style business, where the emphasis is on creating community, all the while striving to inspire and nourish each customer’s mind, body and spirit.  We offer a wide variety of tools to help each other to live more mindful and fulfilled lives.
